About

I created this blog as a personal outlet to help other adult victims of revenge porn in Canada. My hope is that it will help even one person.

My story in general is probably like yours, because it boils down to the fact that an ex or someone else posted nude photos or video of you on the internet, while they cowardly hide their identity behind a screen. I truly believe that screen will legally disappear in the future when revenge porn laws will be revised and stronger than ever.

You see, I too was in a relationship with one person who took photos without my knowledge. Without my consent. He saved those photos for years after we split without my knowledge. Without my consent. He posted them online without my knowledge. Without my consent. It is a malicious act of sexual violence and violence upon women, which would be a crime today under the C-13 law in Canada.

We are left to take care of what happens after the photos and content are posted. I know your shoes. I have walked in them. I fought the fight. Victims are being re-victimized again and again. I am now fighting in my little space on the internet for awareness so that Canadian women know about the C13 law if someone has done the unthinkable to you. Knowledge is power. The revenge porn law exists because of these such crimes.

NOBODY has the right to sexually exploit another person's body online to promote sexual violence and violence upon women. Let's raise awareness about this crime. It can happen to anyone.
