In March, 2015 - Bill C-13 came into effect. It's known as Protecting Canadians from Online Crime.
....."162.1 (1) Everyone who
knowingly publishes, distributes, transmits, sells, makes available or
advertises an intimate image of a person knowing that the person
depicted in the image did not give their consent to that conduct, or
being reckless as to whether or not that person gave their consent to
that conduct, is guilty....."
If you're the victim of someone posting up nude photos of you without your consent - please educate yourself about Bill C-13 because they might have just committed a criminal offence.
This new C-13 bill will start holding these abusive characters criminally responsible for thinking they have the right to exploit someone's body online while they themselves are hiding behind a screen.
